The Vanster (Japanese:バンスター) is inspired by the H200-series Toyota HiAce van, an icon of Japanese pop culture. This casting has a ‘Greenhouse’ roof- a clear plastic roof revealing a large, mid-mounted engine in the cargo bay, as well as a chopped roofline and wide fenders. This casting is in right-hand drive, as is the standard on JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) vehicles.
